This web site was created due to the numerous messages
placed on various sites regarding signing companies,
lenders, and title companies who have less than ethical
payment practices. While we are grateful that there are so many companies
that are reputable, there are also some that are
not.
I personally had to make numerous calls - listen
to one-excuse after another - then threaten to bill
the borrower before receiving payment ---- 6 months
after the signing.
The goal of NotaryBeware.com
is to provide Notaries with a "one stop" web
site to voice THEIR opinion. The ethical companies
need to be commended.
We need to be aware of the ones that are not. Who has time to log in to every notary web site
and read all comments on a particular company - hence
the creation of this web site.
Plus the expense all the notary companies out there
is cost prohibitive at $20 + per year membership
fee.
